Concept

In collaboration with our customers, we provide research and solutions at an international level that give a competitive edge throughout the value chain.

Our clients and professional organisations come from:
• The aquaculture industry
• The fisheries industry
• The food industry, both marine and terrestrial
• The ingredient industry
• The pharmaceutical industry


Main strategy

Our strategy has six main focus areas:

Market:

Nofima shall be the preferred partner to Norwegian industries within our research areas.

 

Research:

Nofima shall produce at least one scientific publication per researcher/year.

 

Finances:

Nofima shall have a sound financial base with a predictable framework and solid systems. By the end of 2012, the group shall have an operating result of 2 %.

 

Collaboration and internationalisation:

Nofima shall collaborate actively with the universities close to our locations, and with other relevant research institutions both in Norway and abroad. Nofima shall be seen as a leading international actor within selected areas.

 

Personnel and HR:

Nofima shall provide an attractive workplace where employees are content and able to develop.

 

Communication:

Nofima shall lead a strategic and proactive external communication which fortifies our reputation and position on the market, as well as promote internal cooperation and a feeling of unity.
