We regret to announce that this workshop has been cancelled due to lack of registered participants.

As part of the EU funded Fine fish project, Nofima arrange two professional training courses focusing on prevention of malformations in juvenile/adult fish. This workshop is aimed at fish producers, fish health service providers and scientists.

This workshop does not only present results but also provide hands-on training for the benefit of hatchery and juvenile farm operators. The workshop will combine information developed within the project with experience and observations from hatcheries, and will give a summary of relevant knowledge from studies in other species. A thorough presentation of diagnostics (methodology, guidelines for classification) will be included. The workshop will primarily focus on skeletal deformities.

The workshop will also include a farm tour, to visit one of the Danish model trout farms and a European eel producer located close to Billund.

A course has allready been arranged on cod in Bergen. It was foreseen to attract 20 people and more than 40 professionals/scientists participated. This was extremely successful and feedback has been excellent.
