Industries

With more than 300 scientists, Nofima can offer research and solutions along the entire value chain for the majority of industries associated with food production.

Where the relevant issue requires it, we can form an interdisciplinary research team which collectively has the sufficient breadth of competence.

The organisational structure of our departments is designed to both accommodate the requirement for specialist expertise within the various industries, as well as to solve problems that are common for the industries.

Nofima also has operational responsibility for several public programmes. The aim is to contribute to added value in the food industry using various programmes and funding schemes.
