The presentation was titled ”Large scale discovery of nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers in Atlantic Salmon (Salmo salar)”. It was held at the annual Conference in Bled, Slovenia. Here, Hayes got the Best Paper Award in genetics.
Ben Hayes is a researcher within genetics in AKVAFORSK, Institute of Aquaculture Research and cooperates with CIGENE, Centre for Integrative Genetics.
Besides glory and honour Hayes won free registration for next years conference in Uppsala, Sweden, so there's something for people to look forward to!
