I work on fruit, berries and vegetables in the area Food for Health.

One of my main interests is polyphenols and analysing by using spectrometric and chromatographic (HPLC) methods. My second main interest is processing, and how the polyphenols and other health related compounds are affected by processing and storage. I am in charge of the vegetable pilot plant at Nofima Mat, participate in transferring knowledge in different courses, and I have several projects for small and medium companies.

Education:

Chemistry engineer from 1982, and Master of Science (University of Life Science, UMB, Norway) from 2002
