I have worked as a senior researcher at Nofima since 1998. My research mainly focuses on how firms within both established and emerging industries try to develop and exploit competitive advantage by differentiation strategies. I have a Master of Science degree in marketing from the Norwegian College of Fishery Science at the University of Tromsø (1992). My PhD which focuses on market orientation is from the same institution (2001). I also hold a Master of Science degree in marketing from the University of Stirling (1994).
