Facts about Jan Arne Arnesen

I work mainly with marine bioprospecting where I isolate marine bioactive molecules with use of different chromatographic techniques. I am also involved in project which main goal is to get better use of by-products from the fish and aquaculture industry. In such projects I have worked with fish gelatine and protein hydrolysates.

I have a Cand. Scient degree in biochemistry from the University of Tromsø.
