I’m a scientist at Nofima since 1998. Most of my work is done in co-operation with Edgar Henriksen, Øystein Hermansen, Bjørn-Inge Bendiksen og Bent Dreyer – and is predominantly related to industry specific challenges in the seafood value chain. The interaction between actors in the value chain (catch, production and marketing) or consequences from authorities’ regulatory interventions are often addressed topics in my work.
I am from Hovden in Vesterålen (“bøfjæring”). In addition I am educated – latest as PhD in social science from the Norwegian College of Fisheries Science. In my pursuit for credits I have also nailed a master in Economics, a German degree (lic.rer.pol) in International Economic Relations, a degree in Corporate Economics and one in Community Planning.
