Facts about Mette Sørensen

I belong to the fish nutrition group at Nofima, where I mainly work with research projects related to alternative feed ingredients, feed manufacturing technology and quality of feed for carnivore fish. My research interests include feed manufacturing technology, in particular extrusion processing of fish feed and how different extrusion conditions affect the nutritional and physical quality of fish feed. My research interests also include moist feed processes and how these affect the overall utilisation of nutrients in fish. The last years I have also been involved in feed manufacturing technologies and how different processing technologies affect growth performance and nutrient utilization in pigs and poultry.
