I am currently working on a Ph.D. in marketing / consumer behavior. I want to find out how children learn food behaviour from the social environment by observing, imitating and modeling others. The doctoral degree is part of a larger 3-year project, where several scientists from Nofima work together to reveal which productspecific, contextrelated, social and psychological factors affect children and young people's preferences and choices of dinner. The project objective is to gather information to better understand what influences children's food choices. In this way, Nofima can give parents and authorities advice on how to get children to eat healthier food. The doctoral degree will be finished in 2014 at Tromsø University Business school.
