I am a member of the feed and nutrition group at Nofima Marin, and I work mainly with feed and feed ingredients in diets for salmonids. A large variety of feed ingredients are used in fish feed today, and these need to be evaluated with regard to nutrient digestibility and possible favourable or adverse effects on the fish. Much of my work is connected to test new qualities of feed ingredients. I have also become interested in the physical properties of feed, and how these affect the feed’s nutritional value.
