My post- doctoral research is focused on nociception and pain in fish. My tasks include using electrophysiology and magnetic resonance imaging methodologies to gain knowledge about the mechanisms of nociception and potential pain in atlantic cod, Gadus morhua. The fellowship is part of a project fronted by Nofima marin and that includes collaborations with the Universities of Oslo (UiO), Tromsø (UiT) and Trondheim (NTNU), in Norway – and the Universities of Liverpool and Antwerpen. The Research Council of Norway (NFR) finances this research project
