I’m working with selective breeding of farmed Atlantic salmon, and I’m looking into what the selective breeding has done and can do in relation to diseases and vaccination. My main interest and competence lies in the estimation of genetic parameters, and how these can be used for efficient breeding schemes.
In my PhD work, Dr. Prof. Bjarne Gjerde was main supervisor and Dr. Jørgen Ødegård was co-supervisor.
