My area of expertise is Design of Experiments (DoE) and multivariate data modelling (chemometrics), and my research is focused on multi-block methods and time series analysis. Chemometric methods are general tools with countless application areas, but I mainly work on applications within process modelling, spectroscopy and micro biology.
I have a master degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), and a PhD from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB). My doctoral work was a part of the Industrial Biostatistics Network (IBION), a research project devoted to developing statistical methodology for handling unwanted raw material variation in industry. Focus in my thesis was on DoE, process modelling and optimisation. After finishing my PhD I worked as a chemometrician at CAMO Software, before I came to Nofima Food.
