Competance
I started working for Nofima in 1992, and have during the last two decades been involved in numerous projects within seafood preservation and processing with special emphasis on packaging technology and modified atmosphere and related technologies in particular. Since 2006 I have been research manager in Stavanger and is currently leading the competence area Industrial Gastronomy and Processing within Nofima Food, but still try to use a healthy amount of time for the fun part, ie being a research scientist in on-going projects.
Education
I have a PhD in Food Science from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and a MSc in chemical engineering from Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Together with packaging economy study and officer school, this should give me a good background for my work in Nofima.
