Working areas / research areas
My work and research area is sensometrics, i.e. analysis of consumer data and sensory profiling data from sensory panels. I carry out data analysis in client projects as well as various research projects. My research is focused on testing and development of multivariate statistical methods. Furthermore, I lead the development of the PanelCheck software which visualises performance of assessors and sensory panels.
Education / background
In 1998 I earned a diploma degree for my bio-process engineering studies at the Georg-Simon-Ohm University of Applied Sciences, Nürnberg, Germany. Since 2004 I hold a Dr. scient (PhD) degree which I earned at the Norwegian University of Applied Sciences, Ås, Norway for my work with gas-sensor array technology (better know as electronic noses).
