Multidisciplinary Approach to Practical and Acceptable Precision Livestock Farming for SMEs in Europe and world-wide

It is particularly concerned with the social, ethical and environmentally sustainable concerns surrounding PLF, all of which must be addressed to make the increased use of technology acceptable to consumers. With a focus on the needs of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) it will make recommendations on how to make PLF technologies and systems a practical proposition for producers. The BrightAnimal aim is to crystallize from existing efforts a framework for the study and the implementation of Precision Livestock Farming and to exemplify the use of this framework for four different types of livestock farming: Fish from aquaculture, Cattle, Pigs and Chicken.
